Oxford have won four of the last five encounters but Cambridge lead the series by 78-73, since 1829 with one dead heat. <br />

  <description><![CDATA[<a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_sports/specials/boat_race_2002/1900453.stm">A foot</a>! That's how much Oxford beat us by... Very, very lucky if you ask me! If only the course was a couple of metres longer we would've won it. (And perhaps if we hadn't <a href="http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/other_sports/boat_race_2003/2918817.stm">crashed</a> into a boat in training the other day...)
